The non-profit organization’s mission is to built 10,000 self sustainable orphanages in the sub-sahara desert of South Africa were over 2.5 million orphaned AIDS children are left abandoned, abused, and neglected or their parents have died from AIDS.
Many of the AIDS infected orphaned children under the ages of 10 years old were vicitms of rape and sexual assault by AIDS infected men who have the belief, a common myth in the villages, that having sex with a virgin child will “cure” their disease.
